NAOSH Week is an annual occupational health and safety celebration led by the CSSE, Manitoba Chapter, together with our Manitoba NAOSH partners – Workplace Safety & Health, Workers Compensation Board, YOUR Construction Safety Association of Manitoba, and the Manitoba NAOSH Week 2012 Planning Committee.

The goal of NAOSH Week is to focus the attention of employers, employees, the general public and all partners in occupational safety and health on the importance of preventing injury and illness at work, at home and in the community.

CSAM - The Safety Conference

The inaugural CSAM - The Safety Conference sold out in much the same way its predecessor, the Manitoba Construction Conference did for 22 years, taking the Winnipeg Convention Centre by storm Feb 7 & 8, 2012. CSAM thanks all of in the industry delegates who attended this year. This conference is 100% organized by our group, and we will continue to strive to improve the overall experience for attendees every year that follows.

Construction Education Centre Opens for Training

CSAM has now moved into its new expanded offices at 1447 Waverley Street in south Winnipeg, and with that comes a fully renovated warehouse space comprised of training and boardrooms in our new Construction Education Centre, allowing for substantially more training opportunities and larger class sizes.

With interior renovations all but complete, the space is now fully operational.

All CSAM classroom seminars will be hosted in the CEC effective immediately (unless otherwise indicated). *Note the start time of 8:30 a.m.

The CSAM hosts these quarterly meetings to discuss and network with these leaders in the construction industry. Please contact tara@constructionsafety.ca for more information.

Next scheduled meetings are schedule for Winnipeg on June 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. held in Room F within the Winnipeg Convention Centre and for Brandon on June 28, 2012 at 1:30pm held in the CKLQ Hall, Keystone Centre.
